AZIBA stands for Australia ZHEJIANG International Business Association, which is a non-profit and non-political organization. Our mission is to promote the business trading and cultural exchange, and also to enhance the mutual understanding between ZHEJIANG Province and Australia.

ZHEJIANG is the eastern coastal province of China with more than 40 million populations. In 2008, GDP of Zhejiang Province was RMB 1.56 trillion (AUD$276 billion). The proportion of the three industries is 8.8%, 51.2% and 40%. Export earnings reached AUD$84 billion. Among the 500 largest companies, Zhejiang owns 203, which is a incomparable record. In terms of private sector contribution to the GDP, sales, consumption and export volume, Zhejiang ranked China's No.1 from 2003 to 2008. ZheJiang has made itself one of the richest provinces, and the “ZHEJIANG Spirit” has become a well-known legend in China.

Being a ZHEJIANG-based organization, we have spared no efforts to maintain the reputable “ZHEJIANG Spirit”, such as a patriotism, honesty, integrity and co-operation. With the combination of our experience in managing projects, the problem solving skills and the determination to provide quality services, it is certain that AZIBA will successfully fulfill its designated function. I am confident that the mold of ZHEJIANG spirit will play an increasingly important role in enhancing the mutual relationship between the two nations.

Currently, our organization has approximately fifty members and our members are quickly expanding across ZHEJIANG and Australia.
